What I Care About

1. Achievement

Public education is the backbone of our community. Our district management must now turn from the fiscal crisis to focus on strategic initiatives that focus on achievement. Among these, careful consideration of the role of technology and AI in the classroom will be high on the list.

2. Transparency

Our district has been brought low by a fiscal crisis. We need to be willing to share information in a way that helps our community understand the investments we make in our schools and the controls we have in place to ensure it won't happen again.

3. Accountability

We can only understand how our schools are doing by understanding, compared to what? We should be able to rely on our transparency, so we can set others districts as examples by which to understand and improve our performance.
